Subject: Andersonville Civil War Camp From: Cindy Date: April 25, 1998 Hi all, Had a successful trip to the new POW Museum at Andersonville today. The database they have there includes prisoners held there as well as those that died there from 1864-1865. I spoke with one of the workers there, and they are interested in obtaining more information on these individuals' military records and memoirs, pictures, etc., and adding it to the database. They recommend obtaining military records from the national archives, as well. I also purchased a copy of the Atwell List, a list of the prisoners that died in the camp, and will do lookups as requested.
