Are there any books on Southeastern and Northeastern Indians, other than ones about Cherokee Genealogy? I have read the following books, looking for clues on Native American families in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, and South Carolina. All of these books give only a few names.
Native American History , by Judith Nies,
Genealogy of Old & New Cherokee Indian Families, by George Morrison Bell, Senior
Encycopedia of Native American Tribes, by Carl Waldman
How To Research American Indian Blood Lines, by Cecelia Svinth Carpenter.
South Carolina Indians, Indian Traders, and Other Ethnic Connections Beginning in 1670, by Theresa M. Hicks
Indians of the Southern Colonial Frontier, by Wilbur R. Jacobs
The Catawba Indians-The People of the River, by Douglas Summers Brown
Southern Indians, by Robert Spencer Cotterill

If someone knows of other books that would be helpful, I would appreciate your posting such information. Thank you for any help! Ellen
