The term "served as heir to his father's estate"
What was the minimum age that a son could be officially
served by the courts as heir to his father's estate.
Anyone out there well versed in Old English law  [circa 1738]
sufficiently to put forth an answer to that question???
Would appreciate the help even if you are not the
world's greatest expert maybe you have read the
answer somewhere.
