I concur. I know next to nothing of genealogists' standard practices, but a
little kindness never hurts. After teaching English for 33 yrs, I still
cringe a little when I see an A in "cemetery" and an ' in the possessive
"its." Proofreading is a skill different from writing. However, our
purpose as human beings, let alone genealogists, should never be humiliating
others.
