Hello List:   I would ask the person if they were open for additions and corrections as you can help them with some. Mistakes in genealogy are the reason wrong information is given and then it is copied as the truth.    Helen

  To correct spelling and "structure" might be considered "indelicate" and
  could upset the author if he/she is one of those who are easily offended.
  Everyone has their own manner of doing things, but if it were me, I hope I
  would correct only errors in genealogy and then only with the most delicate
  of wording.

  Doesn't it really depend on what kind of relationship you have with the
  author?
