    You can only get birth and death records from 1915 forward.  Actually, the SC Archives 
has all those on microfiche and will look them up and send you a copy for a modest fee.  
If you obtain a certified copy from vital statistics (or SC Health Dept.) it will cost you $8 each.  
     If you will go to my homepage below, I have a link to the SC Archives where you can 
find a phone number and lots of other information.
