The sold, 1 July 1832.age 77 years,decl in Washington Parish La.tat he
was Born N.C. 26 July 1755,according to "record here present" that he
lived in Burke Co Ga.,at time of service in Rev war,; remained in Ga
until 1797 when he moved to Natchez Miss.Ter. where he remained until
1807;then moved West Florida.and had remained at sd.place,now called the
State of Louisiana Parof Washington;he volunteered in Rev War under Col
John Jones John Houson,commander in chief,1778 voluntd 2nd time in Col
John Twiggs Mil.;was driven by enemy from GA to S.C. was in the battle
of Long Cane was in the Battle of the Cowpens,near boundary line of N.
and S Carolina commd by Gen Morgan and Col Washington; was at the Seige
of Augusta,under Col Clarke; and in various skirmishes and scouting
parties.he recd,a Mil Capts commission in 1779,signed by the Gov of
Georgia,;John Houston ,under which heserved from 1779 to end of war in
178,his commission had been lost.William Fuzzell Mrs Sarah Slocam,and
Thomas Bickman Sr, knew of his srvice
Wiliam Fuzzell de, that he served with claimant in 1778 in Fla
Expeditions;lived as neighbour to  him in Ga,;moved in 1811 to
Washintong Parish La. and they had lived as neighbours since then
