 You might want to try the alta vista internet translator.  I have been
using that for communicating with Italian relatives and it has been very
helpful.  I found it at the Alta vista site.  It's called babel fish.  I
will send  a link to anyone who is interested, but I don't think I should
send the link to the list.
It should be easy to find.

there write french who could volunteer to communicate with some people
in France who would be interested in traceing their relatives that
immigrated in the early centuries to South Carolina.
