Elaine, the mystery wife of Wm. Richey died first leaving him with four 
children.  He then married Jane Cowan who gave him two children and shortly 
after her death he married Elizabeth Cowan.  The Cowan girls were daughters 
of Col. Isaac Cowan and Jane's two children are among his beneficiaries.

William died in 1819 and I have a copy of his will.  I doubt that this first 
wife had a will, and even if she did, the only way I could identify her is if 
she mentioned William or one of her children's name.

As it stands now the only hope I have is to locate her death certificate.
