Subject: A COOSAWHATCHIE thank you, and another question From: ELIZABETH RUSSO Date: January 20, 2000 I got up from my flu-induced nap to find several answers to my question. Thank you!! Now, something keeps nagging me to ask this--since so many migrated from SC to AL, were places such as the COOSA river and COOSADA in AL related to places like COOSAWHATCHIE? Same with EUTAW, AL, and EUTAW SPRINGS, SC? I had ancestors living in/near all these places, and am not sure if the same Native American tribes lived in both places, or if homesick settlers named the AL places...
