I have separated the Redden Byrd's listed in Sumter and Darlington county
into three people.

1) Redden Byrd son of Sutton Byrd who died 7 Aug 1802.  This Redden was dead
by Mar 1804 when a partition of Sutton's estate was requested.  No wife for
Redden was listed, however the names of his three children were given,
Margaret, Hannah and John Ira. Sumter County SC Probate Court Judgements,
Vol A. p. 301

2) Redden Byrd alive in 1816 and apparently Married to Mason Coker sister of
Sugar Coker and daughter of Benjamin Coker of NC.  Sumter County SC Probate
records, bundle 17 packet 17

3) Redden Byrd d. 1858 in Darlington County SC.  His is purportedly the son
of George Byrd of Sumter District and the great nephew of Sutton d. 1802.
The Redden Byrd family Bible lists his wife as Hannah Scott.

Who is Redden Byrd husband of Mason Coker?  Who are his parents and
siblings?  Is he the brother of Bright Byrd and the settler of Dale county
AL?
