i don't know - i am searching for information on a Budd aka William George 
who was in Colleton County prior to 1850.    in 1850 his wife shows up in 
Spartanburg County with some of the kids.

here is what i have and will appreciate anyone who can fill in any blanks;

Bud George b. about 1799 married Nancy JAckson b. about 1792
   known children:
        Aaron Pinckney George  b. 1824 d. 1923 married Elizabeth Cross in NC 
- lived Cherokee Co., SC
        Mary George b. about 1837
        Betsy George b. about 1825

possible child:
        William Starling George b. 1839 d. 1911 married a Sarah (possibly 
CROSS)     lived next door to Aaron in 1860
