Linam. His parents migrated from Clarendon Co.,S.C. to Monroe Co. and Conecuh Co.,AL. in 1821. They were with these families: Nettle,Manning,Bozeman, and Stacey. My gggrandfather was born in June, 1928. The 1860 Monroe Co.,Burnt Corn, AL. census has him listed as: Samuel Lynum age 31 overseer? born SC Martha age 25 born GA Ealy? or Edy?(name was Evelina)female age 4 born AL. Ferris? age 2 male born AL He served in the Civil War and was wounded at the battle of Jonesboro in GA. He married Martha Ann McDonald in 1854, Elizabeth Diamond in 1875, and Susan Amerson in 1891. I will appreciate any information that anyone may have to offer.Will also be willing to share information I have.
