Subject: 1812 Will Interpretation From: Cheryl Crowder Date: August 26, 1998 I am trying to read a 1812 will and am having trouble interpreting some of the words. Could anyone help me with interpretation? 1. I think it says "kitchen fountain". Would this be something of value that someone would leave in a will? 2. Also, the word "Crap" seems to appear a few times. (I don't think it is "crop"). Was this word used around 1812 in a manner other than the slang and vulgar way used today? 3.
