	IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN I William McKenzie in the Province of
South Carolina Planter being in Perfect health and of Sound Mind in
Memory &
understanding praifed be God for the Same and Considering the Sertainty
of
Death and the uncertainty of the time thereof do therefore Mack my Last
Will
and Testament in the Manner and form following that is to Say in the
first place I
Recommend my Soul to God the Creator thereof hopeing and firmly Beleiving
the Refurrection of the Dead and the Remifsion of my Sins through the
Merits
and Interceffsion of my Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ and for that Wordly
Estate
which God throught his Infinite Mercy has been plaesed to Trust me with I
Give
Devise & Bequeath the same in the manner and Form following that is to
Say I
Give Devise and Bequeath unto my LoveingSon Thomas McKenzie the Sume of
Sixteen Thousand-pounds Current Money to him and his heirs for Ever  Item
I
Give Devise and Bequeath unto my Loveing John McKenzie the Sume of
TenThousand Pounds Current Money to him and his Heirs for Ever Item I
Give
and Bequeath to my  Loveing Daughter Sufanna Mackenzie the Sume of Ten 
Thousand Pounds  Current Money   Item I Give and Devise and bequeath unto
my Mother in Law Mrs. Susanah Twon's the Sume of One hundred Pounds
Yearly During her life Item I Give and Bequeth to my Daughter Catherine
Mackenzie Living in North Britain called Scotland the Sumeof Thirty
Pounds
Sterling  Item I Give Devise and Bequeath to the Church Wardens of the
Parish
of St Philips Charles Town the Sume of 200 hundred pounds Current Money
to
be put out at Interest for the use of poorTransient People to them and
their
Succefsors for Ever, It is my Will and Positively Order that all my Lands
houses and Slaves be Sold to the Best Advantage after my Decaase Except
four negroes Such as my Wife Shall Choose for Attending herself &
Children until they Come to the, age of Twenty One Years with the houses
and Garden in Church Street Which I give Devise and Bequeath unto my Son
Thomas Mackenzie to him and his heirs for Ever Reserving Neverthelefs for
my Loveing Wife Sarah Mackenzie during Life to Live in   Item Order all
my Pleate and household Furniture to be Divided Between my said Wife and
Three Children Share And Share alike all the Rest and Refidue of my
estate be the Same either Real or Personal after my just Debts ard
Ingagments and funeral Charges be paid Satiffyed and discharged I Give
Devise the Same unto my said three Children and their heirs for ever to
be Equally Divided Share and Share alike   Item I Give Devise and
Bequeath unto my Loveing Wife. Sarah Mackenzie the Sume of five Thousand
pounds Current Money Item I Give and Bequeath to my good Son Ifaac Fidlin
the Sume of Tvio hundred pounds Currant Money And I Do hereby Constitute
Make and Ordain and appoint my Loveing Wife Sarah Mackenzie Gabriel
Maingault Esquire and Capt. John Mackenzie of CharlesTown to Executrix
and Executors of this my Last Will and Testament hereby desireing them to
tack the trouble of the Execution of the Same upon them and I do hereby
revoke renounce Null and Void all former or Other Wills by me at any time
hereafter Meat and to Declare this to be Continue in One sheet of paper
to be my Only true last Will and Testament In Witnefs whereof I have
hereunto Set my hand and Seal this fourth day of August in the Year of
Our Lord One thousand Seven hundred thirty Eight
