Might I ask if you got this at the SC Archives...Charleston...or what
was the source you requested to get this? also I have heard that the
SC
Archives has an index of land records by location i.e. early land
records located say on Kings Creek...does anyone know if this is the
case and what this resource would be called...thanking you in advance

You didn't dream it. The Dallas Public Library has such an index on
microfilm. It is for land grants and does not index subsequent
conveyances.
It is indexed by surname and by waterway. The index includes names
mentioned in a land grant such as persons owning the adjacent property.
It
is quite helpful but can be very large. I don't remember how many rolls
of
microfilm are involved. I copied all of the WILSON/WILLSON entrees.
That
is a stack of paper 3/8 inch high. The index gives the roll or book
number
and page number. Incidentally, there may be more than one King's Creek
and
more than one spelling. You have to check them all.
