Hi there.  I recently made some inquiries on this list about my SC surnames.
I received the following letter from " SEIndex".  Does anyone know anything
about this?

100 surname histories of the south east emailed to you each week for a penny
each.  The histories are in text format which means you can store them in a
single file and use the keyword search feature of your word processor to find
all kinds of information. At the end of a years subscription you will have
5200 surname histories containing approx. 100,000 + individuals.  Issue number
1 is free and contains the first 100 histories.  If you would like to take a
look at it just reply to this message with the single word "subscribe", and
the first issue will be mailed this weekend along with subscription
information.
Don't delay, each issue will be mailed only once.
