Volume containing information about births, deaths, and marriages in the
Charleston, South Carolina area compiled from various sources by an unknown
individual.
Volume of handwritten entries consists of: 1. Birth, death, and marriage records
(18th century) transcribed from the Isaac Hayne journal or register (South
Carolina Historical Society collection 34/160). 2. Copies of 18th and 19th
century wills. 3. Abstracts from St. Philip's Church, Charleston, South Carolina
register. 4. St. Thomas and St. Denis Church records. 5. Extracts from the
Statutes at Large of South Carolina. 6. Extracts from collections of the South
Carolina Historical Society. 7. Biographical and genealogical notes (1827, 1860)
about the Huger and Pinckney families.
Volume missing covers and most of spine.
