I first learned about my family connection to the Van Deren family when researching my Tremble ancestors who lived in Coles County, IL about 1830-1886. Some members of the Van Deren family and descendants lived there are the same time and one married into the Tremble line. The Van Deren/Von Duehren families originated in Germany/Konigsburg Stadt, East Prussia. Their migration was from there to New York City > Schoharie, NY > Morris Co, NJ > Cynthiana, Harrison Co, KY > Nicholas Co, KY > Bracken Co, KY > Coles Co, IL > Los Angeles, CA. Some of the surnames included in this family line: Blumnau, Coleman, Cross, Jones, Munson, Murray, Sanders, Shelton, Shutz, Tremble, Van Deren, Van Horn, Von Duehren, Wiglesworth, Wilson, and others.
