Mrs. Moses
Leona Stanfield Moses, 88, of 64 Bethel Church Rd., died Saturday, Jan. 30.
She was a native of Macon County, and the daughter of the late Commodore and Roxie Gregory Standfield and the wife of the late Arthur Moses, who died in 1976. She was a homemaker. She attended Cullasaja Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by one daugheter, Imogene Sanders of Aiken, S.C.; one son, Gilbert Moses of the home; one sister, Mae Standfield of Franklin; one granddaughter and two great grandsons.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Feb. 1 at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Bryant Funeral Home, with the Rev. Howard Southards officiating. Burial was in the Sugarfork cemetery.
Pallbearers were Harley Hedden, Prelo Stanfield, Theron Stanfield, Ronnie Evans, Bud Stanfield and Charlie Davidson.
