Mr. Gregory
Parker Gregory, 87, of the Holly Springs Community, died Monday, Feb. 13, at his home.
A native of Macon County, he was a son of the late William and Myra Parker Gregory. He was a veterna of World War I and a retired farmer and timber man.
Surviving are his wife, Lelia Woodard Gregory; tow daughters, Ruby Ammons of Franklin and Mildred Greig of Granite Quarry; five sons, Keith Gregory of Hastings, Neb., Hayes Gregory of Wilksboro, Wayne Gregory of Hendersonville, Bill Gregory and Charles Gregory or Franklin; a sister, Alice Fox of Cullowhee; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2 p.m., in Holly Springs Baptist Church. The Revs. Barry Stephens, Judson Hall and Cecil Frady officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Bryant Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Holly Springs Cemetery Fund or to a favorite charity. Parents: William T. GREGORY and Myrah A. PARKER.
