Suggestions to my Patrons.
1.
When you are ready to be photographed
appoint an hour, then come before you are worn
out with shopping or other buisness. The light
is best from 8 A. M. till 3 P. M.
2. Dress in good taste
and don't add on too much, so when you get your
pictures, your friends will recognize you.
3. In sitting for
a picture be calm and natural, and the result
as a general thing will be good.
4. Bring your babies
in the morning, never come late in the afternoon
to be photographed.
5. I guarantee first
class work in cloudy weather as well as in clear.
6. Copying I make
a specialty and finish in Crayon, Ink, Pastel,
WaterColors or in Oil, and make the pictures
as good as though they were taken from life.
7. My 25 years' experience
in the business, and 23 of them spent in St.
Charles, ought to give me great advantages in
the Photographic Art. My Studio has been refitted
on the most modern plan; the new accesories,
backgrounds and instruments ae of the best designs
and all constructed to ensure richness in result
and a graceful pose to the sitter.
8. Since every
face has good points, I invite all those who
never had a good picture taken to give me a
trial.
Respectfully,
R. Goebel
