JSB's Genealogy Family Tree Credits
A number of people deserve special mention
for the family tree information presented here:
Mamam (Alice Duffield
Dickson Nace, 1882-1968), whose large genealogy notebook is the starting
point for much of my research.
My mother, Cynthia Barnes, who drew up a nice, graphical
family tree some years ago, and who added information on her mother's family,
the Andersons.
Aunt Doll (Mary Logan
Nace Anderson, 1906-1999), who provided me with extensive information
and encouragement in my family research.
My cousin Bill (William Anderson Nace), who collected and typed most of
the information for the "electronic" tree. His family research has
taken him to Okinawa, Japan, where he interviewed his wife Masayo's family.
You can see the results of his efforts in the tree.
For the technically curious, I use a wide variety of tools to create these
pages:
Legacy 3.0 Deluxe which stores and organizes the
electronic family trees.
GED2HTML, a program by Gene
Stark, which converts Family Origins data into very respectable Web pages.
Microsoft Access 2002 stores the family address and birthday database.
I have managed to coax it into generating email, Web pages, and publishable
lists as well.
Finally, the "glue" Web pages like this one are generated by Microsoft FrontPage
2000.
