     John was born January 1, 1871.  He immigrated with his parents when he was 10 years old.
     First married Hedwig Czuba, 5 Oct 1891.  Hedwig, a daughter of Sebastian and Mary Anna (Hanzel) Czuba, was born 1873, baptized at St.Stanislaus Church, Duncan, Nebraska.
Four children:
     Della, married Andrew A. Jaworski
     Minnie, married John Sliva
     Mary, married Edward John Golka
     Nora, married John McCarville
Hedwig died 27 Oct 1898, buried at Krakow.
     Second married Mary Kathryn Grzechowiak, 26 Jan 1899 at St. Michael's, Tarnov, Nebraska.  Mary, dau of Andrew and Kathryn (Szawica) Grzechowiak.
     John and Mary lived southwest of Genoa near Krakow for seven years.  In 1906, they move to a farm four miles northeast of Loup City.  Lived there until 1940, then retired and moved into Loup City.
They had 11 children:

     Helen, married Joseph Toczek
     John L., married Marie Prososki

     Andrew M., ordained priest 5 Jun 1947

     Kathryn, Joseph, Anna and Leo were born in Nance County and baptized at Krakow.

John, died 21 Nov 1950, and Mary Kathryn, died 1 Mar1961, both are buried at St. Josaphat's Catholic Cemetery in Loup City, Sherman County, Nebraska.
