Wedding Announcement of
Adolph THOMAS and Julia Mary ZACH
Married February 15, 1916

Newspaper clipping [no date or newpaper name--probably the Humphrey Democrat]:

--Bright, unclouded skies ushered in the wedding morn of Mr. Adolph Thomas and Miss Julia Zach and at nine o'clock on Tuesday morning at St. Mary's* church, Rev. Father Stanislaus, pronounced the words that made them man and wife. The impressive ceremony was followed by a nuptial mass. Attending the bridal couple were Miss Mary Zach, a sister of the bride, and Miss Erna Thomas, a sister of the groom, and Hellmuth Thomas, brother of the groom and Martin Zach, brother of the bride. The bride was attired in a most becoming creation of white crepe de chine. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ignatz Zach who reside southeast of this city and was born and raised in the St. Mary's community. She is a young lady of rare charm of mind and person, handsome and accomplished, and possesses every attribute necessary to create and maintain a happy home. The partner of her choice is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Thomas of south of town. He is a young man of splendid character, energetic, full of ambition and worthy, in every respect, of the bride he has won. Immediately after the ceremony the happy couple accompanied by numerous relatives and friends repaired to the home of the bride's parents where the day was spent in happy celebration of the event. In the spring the young couple will go to housekeeping on a farm east of town. The Democrat extends sincere felicitations.
