My Grandmother Martha KUDRON arrived at the Port of Boston, Massachusetts, on 20 Jun 1907 with her mother and four siblings. They were coming from Łęki Górne, Poland, and going to join her father in Krakow / Genoa, Nance County, Nebraska. Her father, Thomas KUDRON, arrived 14 Jul 1906 at the Port of New York with his brother-in-law, John KIELISZEK. In the course of researching my KUDROŃ family I have gathered information on a few other KUDROŃ families, who do not currently connect to mine.
Following is the information I have collected for John D. KUDRON, who immigrated to the United States April 28, 1893, through New York. Using his calculated year of birth from various U.S. sources, and the names of his parents given on his marriage record, I found John's birth/baptism record in the LDS microfilmed records for Łęki Górne, Galicia, Austria - now Poland. First is the information I have gathered from a few United States sources, followed by the birth/baptism and marriage information I have extracted from the microfilmed church records. I have a photograph of a tombstone from the St.
Michael's Cemetery in Tarnov, Platte County for an Anna KUDRON,
1900-1929. I believe this is the tombstone of Adolph's first wife, Anna
nee STARZEC, however I do not have proof of this as yet. The 1930
Nebraska census shows that Adolph was a widower. Enumerated with Adolph
were his sister Emily and his two sons. The younger son was not quite
three years old, so Adolph's first wife would have died somewhere
between 1927 and 1930.
