William Peter BRAUN was a son of John and Maria WIESER BRAUN. Barbara nee GERMAN was a daughter of Frank and Elizabeth (Lizzie) MESSING GERMAN. William and Barbara were married 18 Feb 1903 at St. Mary of the Angels Church in the St. Mary's community near Humphrey, Platte County, Nebraska. They were the parents of at least eleven children. Both of William's parents are relatives of Marge: John BRAUN is a great granduncle, Maria WIESER BRAUN is a second cousin three removed.

Catherine KOLODZEY was a daughter of George and Katie CHOCHUN KOLODZEY. She was born 19 Nov 1890 in Austria. On 17 Feb 1909 Catherine married Anthony SOKOL at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Krakow, rural Nance County, Nebraska. Anthony was a son of Louis and Anna KUDRON SOKOL. Anthony and Catherine later divorced. After Anthony's death, Catherine married John Thomas ZIEMBA, a widower, in Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska. Catherine and Anthony had nine children, one of whom was Frank X. SOKOL. Frank was born in Jan 1911 and died in 1955. Anthony SOKOL was Marge's first cousin twice removed; Frank was a second cousin once removed.

Christina -- Chrissie -- nee BRAUN was a daughter of William and Barbara GERMAN BRAUN. Chrissie and Leo ZUERLEIN were married 8 Sep 1925 at St. Francis Assisi Church in Humphrey, Platte County, Nebraska. Chrissie is a second cousin once removed of Marge.
