Vincent I Zach Eileen M. / Ilene Mary ZACH was a daughter of Vincent and Mathilda WEMHOFF ZACH, granddaughter of Vincent and Bertha DITTRICK ZACH.  Eileen / Ilene was born 27 May 1928 and died 13 July the same year. 

The St. Francis Assisi Centennial book lists a
Leo Stephen ZACH, who was a son of Joseph and Mary Magdalene PFEIFER ZACH, grandson of Vincent and Bertha DITTRICK ZACH.  Leo was born 28 Jun 1925 and died 10 April 1929; he was buried in the St. Mary's Cemetery.  The death date doesn't match, but this tombstone may be for Leo Stephen.

Vincent I. ZACH was a son of Vincent John and Bertha Mary DITTRICK ZACH (they are buried at St. Francis Cemetery in Humphrey).

Both Frank and Walburga (Burgie) HOFFMAN ZACH are related to me. Frank ZACH was a brother of my Grandmother, Julia ZACH THOMAS, and a son of Ignatz and Anna Mary BRAUN ZACH. Walburga HOFFMAN ZACH was my third cousin twice removed, related through my PFEIFER family. She was a daughter of Vincent and Wenceslaus (Mary) BURKHARDT HOFFMANN. Frank and Walburga married 16 May 1916 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pierce, Pierce county, Nebraska.

Ignatz and Maria PFEIFER ZACH are my great great grandparents. They were married November 24, 1846 in Kurzschwarza, Austria. In 1874 they immigrated to the St. Mary's Community and homesteaded in Grandville Township, Platte County, Nebraska.
