they immigrated to the Madison, Wisconsin, area. Three years later they
moved to Grand Prairie Twp. in Platte County, Nebraska. They were the

I am not sure who Franciscus is. Reading the rows from north to south, there is Franciscus WIESER, next is Maria KOHLER WIESER, then Augustin WIESER. In the St. Francis Assisi Centennial Book (Humphrey Nebraska) the biography of the WIESER family shows that August and Maria KOHLER WIESER had a son Francis who was born in 1868, died October 27, 1881 and was buried at St. Mary's Cemetery (page 262). It is possible that this is his grave marker. |
