Andrew Stephen was a son of George and Katie GERMAN FEHRINGER and a brother of  Leo FEHRINGER, who married Marge's grandaunt, Angela ZACH. Rose was adopted by Alphonse Bernard and Bertha WEISER HAMLING. Andrew and Rose married 26 Aug 1941 at St. Mary of the Angels Church, Platte County, Nebraska.

George FEHRINGER was born in Indiana, a son of Anton and Magdalene BECHTAL FEHRINGER. Katie (Catherine) GERMAN, born in Peoria County, Illinois, was a daughter of Frank and Elizabeth (Lizzie) MESSING GERMAN. George and Katie married 20 Oct 1891 at St. Mary of the Angels Church. They were the parents of eleven children. One of their sons, Leo Frank, married Marge's Grandaunt Angela Maria ZACH on 13 Jan 1925 at St Mary's.  Several of the FEHRINGERs later moved to Logan County, Colorado.

Clara Anna FEHRINGER was a daughter of George and Katie GERMAN FEHRINGER. Clara kept house for her grandfather Frank GERMAN. She then kept house for the priests in Sterling, Colorado. She later took care of her mother. Clara died at St. Joseph's Home in Norfolk, Madison County, Nebraska. Raymond Alphonse was the grandson of George and Katie GERMAN, son of Andrew Stephen and Rose MONSELLE HAMLING FEHRINGER. According to the St. Francis (Humphrey, Nebraska) Centennial Book, Raymond died as a result of an automobile accident.

The St. Francis Assisi Centennial book names three FEHRINGER brothers who were a part of the St. Mary of the Angels Parish: Nicholas, George and Joseph.  Joseph was born 29 Dec 1865 in Indiana.  He came to the St. Mary's community and married Mary Ann GERMAN on 12 Feb 1895 at St. Mary's Church.  Mary Ann was the younger sister of Kate GERMAN, who was married to Joseph's brother George.  She was a daughter of Frank GERMAN and Elizabeth nee MESSING.  Joseph and Mary lived in the St. Mary's community until 1903, moved to Okarchee, Oklahoma, came back to St. Mary's in 1908, moved to North Dakota a year later, then in 1922 moved to Tomahawk, Wisconsin, where Joseph and Mary Ann are both buried.

Joseph Ferdinand BRAUN on 3 Sep 1919 in Oakes, North Dakota.  Joseph BRAUN was Marge's first cousin twice removed.  Joseph and Eleanore FEHRINGER BRAUN are both buried in the St. Nicholas cemetery near Rosholt, South Dakota.

Henry and Susan married 17 Oct 1890 at Humphrey, Platte County, Nebraska. Several of Henry and Susan's children married into my BRAUN family.
