The second Nicholas was born at Dartmouth, Massachusetts on January 1, 1702/3. He first married Dorothy Potter on October 12, 1723 at Dartmouth. They had one child and it's possible that Dorothy died in childbirth. On January 20, 1728/29, Nicholas married secondly, Rebecca Wilcox at Little Compton, Rhode Island. Rebecca, daughter of John & Rebecca (____) Wilcox and great granddaughter of Mayflower passenger, John Cooke, was born August 14, 1711 at Little Compton and died after 1753, probably at Beekman, Dutchess Co., New York. Nicholas was taxed in Beekman, New York from 1748 to 1765 or later. He may have accompanied one of his children to Washington or Rensselaer Co. NY in his later years. Nicholas died sometime after 1765. Please send e-mail to Sam Behling.
