General Notes:I beleive Elizabeth Jane Babb to be the daughter of Jasper Babb and Mary "Polly" Hughes for several reasons though I have no concrete proof.
1. Levi Lemming and Elizabeth Jane Babb were married in Clinton County in 1842.
2. In 1850 they were recorded in the census as living in Richland Township
3. In the 1820, 1830, and 1840, census for Ohio, Jasper is listed as being in Richland Township Clinton County.
4. Levi and Elizabeth named one of their sons Jasper. I'm wondering if daughter "Bisha" is a nickname for Bathsheba which also runs in the Jasper Babb line.
5. In the Cleo-Babb Bible there is a handwritten insert listing the family of Jasper and Mary Babb. William H., b. 1818, Johnson, b. 1820, E.J. b. 1822, R.L. b. 1823, twins Jasper and Mary b. 1825, Bathsheba, b. 1827, John b. 1829 and twins Abraham and Isacc b. 1831.
6. In the 1850 census Elizabeth is listed as being 28 and the 1860 census lists her as 39 which makes her the right age for the E.J. Babb listed in the Bible.
Elizabeth married Samuel Lemming on 17 Nov 1842 in Clinton County, Ohio. Samuel was born about 1817.

Thomas married Mary C. Clayball, daughter of Clayball and Catherine, on 4 Nov 1869 in Clinton County, Ohio. Mary was born about 1849.

General Notes:Levi and Mary M. Gallimore's marriage record is found in Shelby County, Ohio Record of Marriages, Book 5, Page 508. They were married on 26/Mar/1874 by Mr. P. Hunt.
Levi is found in the 1880 Ohio census, Roll 1066, Jackson Township, Shelby County, Vol 59, E.D. 212, Page 6, Line 10 with wife Mary M. and sons Gilbert and Lewis. Also living with him are Millard Galimore [Brother-in-law], Ada Galimore[Niece] and Elias Ballard[Nephew]. He states his parents were born in Ohio.
Levi is found in the 1900 Ohio Census,Wood County, Henry Township, Roll 214, Vol 158. E.D. 142, Sheet 16, Line 85 with wife Mary M. and 9 children. Daughter-in-law Mary E. [Lewis's wife] also lives with him. In this census he claims his parents were born in Ireland.
Levi's death record is found in Pentland Township, Luce County,Michigan, and he is buried in Newberry, Michigan
Levi married Mary Margaret Gallimore, daughter of Mark Gallimore and Margaret Jane Wilson, on 26 Mar 1874 in Jackson Township, Shelby County, Ohio. Mary was born on 28 Dec 1857, died on 6 Sep 1922 in Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio and was buried in Forest Cemetary, Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio.

General Notes:Gilbert Lemming lived at 2652 Norwalk St in 1920. He was a Stationary Engineer for an oil refinery at the time. He lived at 719 Lorian St. Toledo, Ohio at the time of his death. He was buried Forest Cemetary, Toledo, Ohio and his funeral was held at H.H. Birkenkamp on 1003 Broadway, Toledo, Ohio. He was working for W.P.A. at that time.
Gilbert married Myrtle May McCarley, daughter of Robert Bailey McCarley and Eveline Elizabeth Ferrell, on 22 Mar 1905. Myrtle was born on 18 Mar 1887 in Lawrence County, Ohio, died on 14 Aug 1962 in Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio and was buried in Forest Cemetery, Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio Sec. X4, Lot 28, Grave 1.
�� 52 M �� ii. Lewis Elmer Lemming was born on 22 Aug 1878 in Jackson Township, Shelby County, Ohio and died on 20 Dec 1941 in Gibbs City, Michigan.
Lewis married Mary Elizabeth McCarley, daughter of Robert Bailey McCarley and Eveline Elizabeth Ferrell, on 7 Oct 1899 in Portage, Ohio. Mary was born on 13 Dec 1882 in Pedro, Ohio and died on 23 Sep 1933 in Newberry, Michigan.
