Ida Bell Wingo, 80, of 4985 England Road, Gainesville, died Friday, Jan. 17, 1992, at Lanier Park Regional Hospital following and extended illness.
Mrs. Wingo was a native of Hall County, a homemaker, and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin H. Wingo. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law Vivian and Art Ellington, Cornelia; Lillian and Donald McNeal, Flowery Branch; sons and daughters-in-law Clarence and Bobbie Wingo; C. L. and Shelby Wingo; Tommy and Elaine Wingo, all of Gainesville; sisters, Mrs. Pearl Lyle, Oakwood; Mrs. Clara Mae Elliott, Gainesville; brother, Mr. William John Brown, Gainesville; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family received friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, at the funeral home. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. Memorial Park Funeral Home of Gainesville. |
