Notes for John Thomas ROSS

Information from the work of Robert L. Ross. Obituary fro the Waynesburg,
Pennsylvania newspaper of 14 January, 1880 quoted by Mary Helen Emery: "We
learn as we go to press that Tom aged about 16years,son of Hiram and Prudance
Ross of Douglas County, Illinois, died at his father's residence of brain
fever on New Years morning last, four days after he was attacked. Hiram R
oss and his wife were both natives of this county, Mr. Ross being a brother
of Dr. T.W.Woss of this place and Mrs Ross (Prudence Harvey) a sister of Mrs.
Sheriff Dinsmore."
