Notes for Mordecai Millard KYGER

The History of Clinton County contains a biography of John Vansickle who
married a Diana Kyger, daughter of Samuel and Eve Oldfather Kyger, natives of
Virginia although Diana was born in Warren County, Ohio June 1829 and her
parents moved to Clinton County about 1832.
The 1870 census of Washington Township, Clinton County, lists M.M.Kyger, age
30, Charlotte age 28 with Grace age 7 and ?assa age 2, Saphona not listed. In
the City of Frankfort in the 1880 census he is selling agricultural
implements, age 40 with Charlotte 38, Grace 17, Albie 13, and Willie age 1
year.
