Notes for Daniel EMERY
He removed to Jaffery, NH in 1776 and aferwards to Walpole, NH. He was
probably in Captain James Hoesely's Company of Townsend, MA at the Battle of
Lexington and was in service from 19 April to 27 April, 1775. He was probably
commissioned Lt. in Captain Thomas Warren's Company of the 6th Middlesex
Regulars. Our own family tradition referred to him as Captain.
