Notes for Thomas Andrew THOMPSON
Data from the History of Clinton County, Indiana, 1881: He was alive and
farming there then. He came to Clinton County in 1841, purchased 160 acres
from Thomas but the property had previously been owned by his uncle, John
McBride. He was a supervisor and school director.
In the 1880 census of Clinton County he is in Washington Township, age 65,
born in Ohio and both parents born in Ireland. Wife, Eleanor, age 62, and
son Huston, age 29.
