Joint Will of Willie Pridgeon and Beatrice Pridgeon

We, Willie Pridgeon and Beatrice Pridgeon, his wife, of Jefferson County, Arkansas, being over the age of 21 and of sound mind and memory, do hereby make, declare and publish this as our joint will hereby revoking any and all wills made by either of us at any time.

1. We hereby direct our executor, hereinafter named, to pay all of our just debts as speedily as possible, including all expense incurred in connection with our last illness and funeral.

2. It is our mutual desire and wish and we hereby direct that upon the death of either of us, the survivor shall have absolute control and possesion of all the real property that we own, namely:

The Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of Section 10, Twonship 7 South, Range 7 West, containing 40 acres; and,

The North Half (N 1/2) of the Southwest Quarter in Section 11, West of Highway No 65, Township 7 South, Range 7 West, containing 55 acres; and,

The Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) East of Highway 65 in Section 11; Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) in Section 11; and the West half (W 1/2) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) in Section 11, all in Twonship 7 South, Range 7 West, containing 75 acres, more or less.

3. It is our further mutual desire and wish and we hereby direct that upon the death of the survivor of either of us, the following described real property located in Jefferson County, Arkansas, shall go to our sons, Willie Pridgen, Jr. and J.C. Pridgeon, in equal shares absolutely:

The Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of Section 10, Township 7 South, Range 7 West, containing 40 acres;

and we further direct that the following described real property located in Jefferson County, Arkansas, shall go to our son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Pridgeon and Augusta Pridgeon, in equal shares, absolutely:

The North Half (N 1/2) of the Southwest Quarter in Section 11, West of Highway No. 65, Township 7 South, Range 7 West, containing 55 acres; and,

The Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) East of Highway 65 in Section 11; Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) in Section 11; and the West half (W 1/2) of the West Half(W 1/2)of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4)in Section 11, all in Township 7 South, Range 7 West, containing 75 acres, more or less.

4. All the rest of our property, whether real, personal or mixed, shall go to the survivor of either of us for and during his or her natural life and upon the death of the survivor, said property shall go to our children, Willie Pridgeon, Jr., J.C. Pridgeon and Thomas Pridgeon, in equal shares absolutely.

5. We hereby nominate, appoint and constitute our son, Thomas Pridgeon, to serve as executor of our estates under this our joint will and is our desire and we hereby directy that our said executor be permitted to serve without bond.

We, the undersigned witnesses, hereby certify that Willie Pridgeon and Beatrice Pridgeon signed their names to said instrument at the time declaring that said instrument was theri joint will; that said signature of Willie Pridgeon and Beatrice Pridgeon was made in our presence, and we, at their request, and in their presence and in the presence of each other, affix our signatures as subscribing witnesses to the execution of this instrument.

The will was probated for Willie Pridgen, deceased, dated 24th January, 1969. Mr. Pridgeon must have made this willon his death bed. He died the same day.
