State of N. Carolina. Nash County this 29th day of May AD 1835 In the name of God amen. I Drewry Pridgeon being old and infirm tho of sound mind and disposing memmory blessed be God for the same do this day make pubblish and declair this to be my Last Will and Testament revoking all other heretofore by me maid.

Item. My will and desire is first that all of my just debts be paid which is but few if any.

Item. I give and bequeath to my daughter Piety Cockwell one Hundred acres of Land lying on the grate meadow in the south west corner of the _allen Tract as formerley ___ to her and her heirs forever.

Item. I give and bequeath to my daughter Morning Bone one hundred acres of land near the Tom Allen older field lying on the grate branch? the East corner of the said Allen Tract to her and her heirs forever.

Item. I give and bequeath to my daugher Sara (maybe Dana)Eighty eight and one half acres of Land it being the land that I bought of  Saml. Lamkin and wife , one feather bed and furniture commonly late heirs to her and her heirs forever.

Item. I give and bequeath to my Daughter Salah Cockerell one hundred dollars to her and her lawful heirs forever.

Item. I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Cockerell one hundred dollars to her and her lowful heirs forever.

Item. I give and bequeath to my daughter Nancy Lindsay? one hundred acres of land lying on the west corner of the Allen Tract as formerly _____to her and her lawful heirs forever.

Item. I lend to my daughter Mary Carter during her natural life one hundred acres of land lying on the north eayst corner of the Allen Tract as formerly ______and at her deayth I give and bequeath the aforsd. land to her Lawful heirs begotten of her body forever.

Item. I give and bequeath to my grandson John C. Taylour one hundred dollars to him and his heirs forever.

Item. I give and bequeath to my son William A. Pridgeon one negro man Janck and one negro girl named Hanah to him and his heirs forever. I also give and bequeath to my son William A. Pridgen one still and one desk? to him and his heirs forever.

Item. I lend to my beloved wife Sarah Pridgen during her natural life and widowhood one feather bed and furniture her choice one painted chest, one negro girl named Fereba ?, two cows and calves, her choice twelve shotes, her choice two sows and pigs her choice, one negro man named Phill and one negro woman named Fan, one Horse her choice and one other bed and furniture her choice , one set of plantation farming tools, one loom and gear?, 2 pots and Hook, one Dutchoven all her choice

And at the death or marriage of my said wife my will and desire is that all of the property land to her should be sold by my Executor hereafter named and equally divinded among all of my childrin and all of the Ballance of my Estate which I have not given away to be sold in like manner and after paying the money ___ to be equally divided in Like manner.

I do hearby constitute and appoint my friend Saml M. Vick and my son William A. Pridgeon my hole and Sole Executors to this my Last will and Testament in Testimoney where of I have hear unto set my hand and seal this 29th day of May AD 1835 as above written Signed Seald and Acknowledged in present of. Entered before assigned in places...
