Nashville, NC....Anita Pridgen Davis, 60, died Friday, January 21, 2000.
She was born June 7, 1939 in Nash County, the daughter of the late Grady
Sr. and Blanche Carpenter Pridgen. Mrs Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clinton Davis. Surviving: daugher and son-in-law, Roberta D. and Larry M. Jones of Nashville; grandchildren, Stephanie, Keith and Alex Jones; brother, Grady Pridgen, Jr. of Charlotte; nieces, Alisa Kupec of Chapel Hill, Cheri Pridgen of Norfolk, Va., and Melanie Pridgen of Wilmington; nephews, Grady Pridgen III of Treasure Island, Fl., Sean Pridgen of Richmond, Va., Christopher Pridgen of Virginia Beach, Va and Jonathon Pridgen of Wilmington; special friend, Robert Walton of Rocky Mount. Funeral service will be held 2pm. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home, Sunset Ave. with Rev. Clarence Correll officiating. Burial will follow at Mill Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-8:30 pm Monday at the funeral home and other times, 3469 Batchelor Road. |
