William Pete Pridgen, 63, died November 23, 1999, at Nash General Hospital.
He was born July 22, 1936, in Nash County to the late William Vernon and
Bertha Lindsey Pridgen. He was an employee and a member of South Rocky Mount
Church of God. He is survived by his mother, Bertha Lindsey Pridgen of Rocky Mount; his wife, Ann of the home; one son and daughter in law, William Thomas and Ann of Rocky Mount; two brothers, Noah Pridgen of Nashville and Bud Pridgen of Rocky Mount; three sisters, Mary P. Smith of Rocky Mount, Myrtlean Ricks of Rocky Mount and Joyce Sherrod of Nashville; and two grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Sat. Nov. 27 1999, at Bowling Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Troy Baggett and Dr. Ferrell Osborne officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Mem. Park. The family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm. Friday at the Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Bowling FH, 661 English Road, Rocky Mount.
