Timothy Lee Pridgen, 45, died Monday, July 12, 1999, at Heritage Hospital in
Tarboro. He was born January 7, 1954, the son of Sarah Daphine Privette Pridgen of
Rocky Mount and the late Elma Lee Pridgen. Tim was a life member of North Rocky Mount
Church of God and a life long resident of Rocky Mount. He was a devoted Christian,
husband, father and friend. He was a graduate of Rocky Mount Senior High, class of 1973
and a former member of Stoney Creek Fire and Rescue. Tim was preceded in death by two
brothers, Anthony Miles Pridgen and Barry Elmer Pridgen.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Vickie Alford Pridgen of Rocky Mount; son, Clifton Lee Pridgen of the home; daughter, Katie Elizabeth Pridgen of the home; brother, Linny Dale Pridgen of Nashville.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 1999 at North Rocky Mount Church of God, with the Rev. V.G. Robertson and the Rev. Harold Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Bowling Funeral Home, 661 English Road, Rocky Mount.
