Mrs Annie L. Pridgen, 78, of 911 Meadow, Geneva, Al, died early Friday, Sept. 25, 1998 in Wiregrass Medical Center, Geneva, following a brief illness. Funeral services will be 2 P.M. today from the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Samson with Judge Harry O. Adkison officiating. Burial will follow in the Earlytown Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Samson directing. Mrs Pridgen was born Oct. 9, `1919 in Clay County, Ala. and lived most of her life in Hacoda, Ala. She was the daughter of the late William A. and Rosie Jarvis Mahan. She was a member of the Samson Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morgan C. Pridgen, in 1968, and two sons, Gary Morgan Pridgen (1970) and Robert Jerald Pridgen (1994) She is survived by three sons, Bill Pridgen (Barbara), Melrose, Fla., Donald Pridgen (Sheila), Opp, Ala, and Jerry Pridgen (Marrion), Geneva, Ala; three sisters, Imogene Pridgen, Geneva, Ala, Ines Ballard, Pheonix City, Ala, and Birtie Olfield, De Funiak Springs, Fla; three brothers Robert Mahan, Live Oaks, Fla., Jessie Lee Mahan. Hacoda, Ala., and Tim Mahan, Milton, Fla.; nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren
