Elsie Replogle
Earl Hubartt lived with Shirley and Tom Cady his last few years and was very loved by all. He was a kind and gracious person and although he was only Shirley's dads counsin he was missed. He was a bad coronary patient and died in Denver,Colo. while visiting relatives there. As Shirley says, he sure made a dent before he left. His funeral was at 11 am Monday, Jan 23, 1961 at Howard's Park Avenue Chapel officiating was Reverend Melvin Subberth of the Keenesburg Methodist Church. John Dyar was Soloist Elsie Replogle was organist. Pallbearers were Harld Vogt, Donald Vogt, Roy Vogt, Charles Aumiller, Lee Alden and Elmer Barney. Military honors at Crown Hill by Keenesburg Post No. 180, American Legion. Howard Mortuaries, Denver, Colorado.
Steven Replogle
Steven Replogle joins the RPO as Acting Assistant Principal Horn. Mr. Replogle previously played third horn with the Grant Park Symphony under Hugh Wolff and was Associate Principal Horn for the Honolulu Symphony. He holds a Bachelor of Music from Northwestern University where he studied with both Norman Schweikert and Gail Williams, members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. He also pursued graduate studies at the University of Cincinnati Conservatory.
