The Descent from the Later Plantagenet Kings of England, Henry III, Edward I, Edward II, and Edward III, of Emigrants from England and Wales to the North American Colonies before 1701
New England Historic Genealogical Society,
2000, 2nd Edition
[$40.00 Item #S2-86306]
"This book is a successor in part to Ancestral Roots of Certain American Colonists Who Came to America before 1700 (7th edition, 1992)".
The original "Publication Plan" was to replace Ancestral Roots..., and The Magna Charta Sureties, 1215 with a series of books about the descent of 17th century colonists. The other books in the series will cover descents from the Magna Charta Sureties, from earlier feudal English barons, and from Charlemagne.
With the publication of the second edition by a different publisher, NEHGS, from the original, GPC, it is no longer considered to be related to the Ancestral Roots..., and The Magna Charta Sureties, 1215 books, which may have their own new editions by their editors and publisher in the future.
The following is a list of the names of the 17th century emigrants whose Plantagenet ancestry is the subject of this book. [This list may be different for the 2nd Edition.]

This book, to be published later this year, contains the latest research on the descendants of the Magna Charta Barons. I believe it will be in a format similar to David Faris' Plantagenet Ancestry....
New England Historic Genealogical Society?, 200x? [Not yet published]
This is a continuation of the Plantagent Ancestry and Magna Charta Ancestry series. It will feature descents of American immigrants from all the major baronial families of England from the time of the Conquest forward.

This book has very little new information over the previous edition, and some of it is no longer considered correct by today's research. The Magna Charta Ancestry book to be published later this year [2001?] promises to have more information, and represents the results of the latest genealogy research.
New England Historic Genealogical Society, January 2004 Information
Note: William Wentworth (1615-1696) does have a line of royal descent in the book, but previous Plantagent descents have been disproven.
