| Theodore ST. ONGE (aka, Theodule MARCOUX dit ST. ONGE) Aug 14, 1836 - Apr 19, 1919 |
Julius Valentine PAUBEL Sep 1, 1838 - Nov 29, 1919 |
My great great grandfathers fought in the Union Army with their neighbors and friends. The information I have listed here about their service came mostly from their pension files. I ordered their pension files through the National Archives in Washington, D.C. and received information on their units from the Missouri State Archives in Jefferson City, Missouri.
The following tables show information from pages of documents that I received from the Missouri State Archives on these two units. I hope that you may find your ancestor on these pages. I would like to keep adding information to this page so that we can eventually get a complete listing of the men and a history of these Missouri units. If you have any information that you would like posted for these units, please let me know. Send an email with the information to me at pfrazer@sbcglobal.net. Please keep checking back as I am still adding information. There was about 200 pages to Julius V. PAUBEL's Civil War pension file!

In order to keep this format readable, I only listed key information for identification. I have used the spellings that are on the sheets, but the copies are very light.
