The Lancashire ORACLE
Lancashire (Where my heart is)
|
|
DEDICATION
This page is dedicated to the Sons and Daughters of
Lancashire who live overseas. They all have two things in common - they
never lose their accents and they never lose their love for their
birthplace.
The links from this page will reveal a people full of
humour, kindness and pride for a county whose beauty I consider to be one one of
the best kept secrets of the British Isles.
Na then lads and lasses that's enough o' that
sentimental rubbish. Let's gerron wi' it.
CONTENTS
The contents of this page have as much to do with nostalgia as with genealogy and contains links to various web sites with a Lancashire theme. If you know of any others please email me the details:

This picture shows Marsden Golf Course, Nelson. It used to be a farm called Gibb Hill where my ancestors lived during the 19th Century.
You can see a glimpse of Pendle Hill on the left.
