She was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving: daughter, sons, 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Service will be 2 pm Friday at Russell County Funeral Home, Lebanon, with the Rev James A Massie and the Rev Ernest Jessee officiating. Burial will be in Ketron Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 6 pm today at the funeral home.

(1) these two sons are the illegitimate sons of this couple (their mother’s surname is “Roberts”
(2) Alberta was first married to a man with surname “Roberts” and then married James Rufus

CLEVELAND, VA - James Rufus Trail, 61, of Cleveland, formerly of West Virginia, died Tuesday in Russell County Medical Center, Lebanon, after a long illness.
He was a maintenance production supervisor at Appalachian Power Company's Clinch River plant. He was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church, VA, where he served as a deacon. He was a former deacon and Sunday school teacher at Cleveland Baptist Church. He served on the board of directors of Cleveland Rescue Squad and was past chief of Cleveland Volunteer Fire Department. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Surviving: wife, Mrs Alberta Trail; daughter, sons, sisters, 11 grandchildren.
Service will be 2 pm Thursday in Russell County Funeral Home, Lebanon, with the Rev James A Massey officiating. Burial will be in Ketron Memorial Gardens, Lebanon. Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm today at the funeral home.
