Farmer party of the second part covenants and agrees with the said Green J. Townsend party of the first part to furnish him with all necessary food and clothing and to take good care of him in every way during the remaining days of his life and it is further agreed by the said E. D. Farmer that the said Green J. Townsend is to have and to hold and occupy the house in which he now resides all the remaining days of his life and the said E. D. Farmer further agrees that in case of sickness of the said Green J. Townsend to employ at his own cost a regular practicing physician to wait upon and render said Townsend the necessary medical attention."377

Originally in my database his birth date was 12-Jul-1858, but data from daughter Ruby was different (15-Jul-1858).98 Death certificate has age at birth being 81 yrs, 21 days,103 which Reunion computes to be 17-Jul-1858. I am using Ruby’s date. [[PDA 5-Jun-99]]
