OBITUARYMEADOWCROFT.--At New York, on August 28th, after a lingering illness, SUSAN MEADOWCROFT, widow of the late John Meadowcroft, in the 76th year of her age.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral, on Wednesday, August 31st, at 1 PM, at the residence of her son-in-law, J D Woods, 927 Sixth avenue, New York City.

Misc. Notes
Based on Montgomery Co Tax records, between Mar 1843 and Nov 1843, John “moved” into Lower Merion Township. He consistently appears in Montgomery Co Tax records through April, 1845, but he does not appear on the Oct, 1846 records. Daniel Arbuckle appears in the same tax records for the same period, in the same Twp as John.

428 On Thursday, 2d inst., after a protracted illness, which he bore with Christian fortitude and resignation, having full hope of an everlasting immortality, JOHN MEADOWCROFT,
in his 37th year of his age.
His friends and those of the family are respectfully invited to attend his funeral, from his late residence, in Manayunk, on Sunday morning, 5th inst., at 10 o'clock-to proceed to Oxford
Burial Ground.
